How To Clean Windows Streak-Free Using Tea Bags

Windows require routine cleaning to maintain their lustre since they can become dirty on the inside as well as the outside.  I decided to try a tea hack because my bi-fold doors were filthy and in dire need of cleaning after a recent heavy downpour.

Dirty stains on windows and doors show up when the weather is sunny and bright.  Because glass is so difficult to clean without streaks, cleaning windows is a laborious chore.  I did, however, attempt a tea-related hack that has been making the rounds on social media for years.

1.Cleaning Windows with Black Tea

I started by adding boiling water to a glass bowl with two inexpensive teabags.
I let it infuse, then removed the teabags and let the water cool.
When cleaning windows, it’s crucial to let the black tea cool down because any liquid that becomes too hot will break glass.
Black tea’s tannic acid is said to have cleansing properties that help remove oil and grime.

When I tested it, this was indeed true.
I spread the black tea all over my windows with a fresh sponge and then gently rubbed it in.
The dirt was immediately removed, leaving no trace.
Often, a second spray is required for really dirty windows.
It works by sucking all the liquid inside it, leaving the glass free from stains and streaks.
Window cleaning was something I avoided before utilising this equipment.

2.Using the Method on Mirrors and Other Surfaces

Mirrors can also be cleaned with the creative cleaning tool.
The outcome astounded me; the window was immaculate and completely mark-free.
After the tea had cooled, the task was completed in less than five minutes.

3.Deep-Cleaning the Air Fryer and Kitchen Appliances

Glass and stainless steel can also be cleaned with the teabag cleaning trick.
The air fryer is another task that is frequently overlooked when it comes to cleaning.
One of my favourite cleaning supplies, elbow grease, is what I recently used to clean mine.
It is adaptable and works well on a variety of surfaces in the house.
According to the cleaning spray’s formulation, oil and grease can be removed in any circumstance.
I sprayed it all over the air fryer’s components and then let it soak for ten minutes.
An appliance that appeared brand new was revealed when the grease and filth were removed.
I also cleaned my oven and stove using the cleaning solution.
